Christmas Musicals

Year 5+6 performed No Room At The Inn.

On the 4th and 5th December the Year 5 and 6’s amazed us with their talent when performing No Room At The Inn. I am sure everyone is proud of the parts played, by the pupils. We had a nativity with animals, a dancing Christmas Dinner and break dancing, as well as the usual songs and narrations. It was truly magical.

Year 3+4 performed There’s Something Amazing Going On.

On the 11th and 12th December Year 3 and 4 showed off their many talents in the Christmas performance of There’s Something Amazing Going On.
Despite being hit by illness the pupils rose to the occasion and thrilled everybody with a thoroughly entertaining show. We again had the compulsory break dancing, angels, 2 Mary and Josephs, Herod with a rocking backing group, wonderful singing by the year groups and a great percussion section.
Well done to everyone. We are very proud of everyone involved.

Music 2007/8

Brayton Junior School has been very musical this year.  The whole school had samba lessons and have entertained us with their skills.  It even featured in the Year 6 leavers concert ‘Moving On Up’.

Pop Connection was a resounding success, culminating in a concert in Brayton Church.  The pupils thoroughly enjoyed learning not only the songs but also the actions!

The Choir made a very valuable contribution to Brayton College’s ‘Joseph’ production.  Rehearsing and then performing for three nights was a huge commitment.  They must be congratulated and thanks to all the parents who spent the week collecting and picking up.
