To support the school maintain its high standard of music we have Mrs Watson teaching.She is teaching music to the singing squad on a Tuesday afternoon and orchestra on a Thursday morning.

We are determined to maintain our strong musical tradition and have many pupils having peripatetic lessons.  Any children interested in having music lessons should take a form from the office.

The Singing Squad performed brilliantly at both the summer fair and at Brayton College's music night in July 2010.  The orchestra entertained parents at the end of term.  It is hoped that there will be many occasions this term when they can show off their many talents.

St Wilfrid’s Summer Fair

Luckily the rain ceased in time on Saturday and the fair went well Well done to the singing squad who performed two sets of songs on Saturday 11th June 2011. Our thanks to Mrs Watson, who has worked with the squad, since last September. We really appreciate the fact that we have been able to keep the singing going and are looking forward to Pop Connection at the end of June.
